Research-performing folklore group
Research-performing folklore group "Murawski way" works in Kharkiv regional organization and methodical center of culture and art. The participants learn and perform folk songs of Eastern Ukraine (Slobodian and Poltava). Moreover, the group presents their concerts in folk rituals, games, traditional music ensemble ("folk music") and dancing in the region.
Team founded in 1983, Head - Honored Artist of Ukraine Galina Lukyanets.
The structure group includes teachers who have more than 25 years engaged in research and performing activities and students who sing in the group and included in the research. The repertoire of the band are more than 100 unique lyrical, Cossacks and soldiers songs left-bank Ukraine, as well as many samples calendar and wedding ceremonial folklore, lullabies and children's games, instrumental nahravan and fragments of folk rituals, band members recorded in folklore expeditions.
Group takes part in concerts. Regular educational concerts devoted to various folk festivals, television and radio folk orientation is an integral part of the team. "Murawski way" was a participant and winner of national and international folk festivals in Kiev, Kamenets-Podolsk, Novohrad-Lutsk, Odessa, Lublin (Poland), Tallinn (Estonia), Klaipeda, Kupiskis, Siauliai, Vilnius (Lithuania), Belgorod , New Usman, Voronezh, St. Petersburg and Moscow (Russia) and others.
Credo group - preservation of authentic traditional folklore and it plays without any styling. Songs are performed in an authentic manner that is related to a specific place in the ordinance and eventually execution. Local dialect ("living language"), traditional dance movement, original costumes and attributes of folk ritual carefully stored in band members intact.
