Virtual Gallery - Online exhibition of illustrations to the works of Taras Shevchenko "With Ukraine in the Heart"

The creativity of Taras Shevchenko has been a source of strength and inspiration for the Ukrainian people for many generations. Kobzar's significant literary and artistic legacy is imbued with love for the long-suffering Motherland, attention to its sincere and strong-spirited people, and respect for our unique culture. The figure of Taras Shevchenko was and remains a symbol of the unification of Ukrainian society and an important element of Ukrainian identity.
Multifaceted works of Taras Shevchenko are relevant even now, in difficult times for Ukraine. Modern artists often turn to Shevchenko's images, filled with humanism, empathy, the desire for freedom, justice and a happy life. Images close and familiar to every Ukrainian.
The exhibition is designed to demonstrate the modern view of Ukrainian artists on the creative work of Taras Shevchenko and the artistic reinterpretation of his philosophy in the context of today.
